The Office of EdTech Innovation aims to inspire creativity, spark new ideas, and support every member of the Los Angeles Unified community as we design future-ready learning experiences for all.
Our vision is a unified edtech innovation ecosystem that connects teaching and learning, technology, and community to position Los Angeles Unified as a global leader in innovative education. We believe every student deserves access to purposeful, hands-on learning with cutting-edge tools, and every educator, administrator, staff, parent, family, and community member deserves the guidance and resources to support them.

A New Era for EdTech Innovation in Los Angeles Unified
The work of the office of EdTech Innovation is guided by the 3Ps Framework: People, Places, and Programs. At the heart of this vision are our People: the educators who integrate technology into lessons, the student and adult learners who bring creativity and curiosity to new learning and tools, and the families and community members who partner with us to extend learning beyond the classroom. Supporting these people are the Places we are building across the District, from regional Innovation Hubs, to mobile learning labs such as the iDREAM, to school-based models such as the Computer Science and Esports for Good Clubs. Together, these spaces will serve as welcoming, collaborative environments where innovation comes to life.
The following Programs connect these people and places to the District’s broader mission:
